Graduate Software Developers

The role

  • We are looking for bright, self-motivated, dynamic individuals who have a passion for IT, an analytical mind, and strong inter-personal skills
  • You will be working as part of a project team on the full project lifecycle of bespoke web and software applications, primarily using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server
  • Working alongside experienced developers, you will be encouraged to develop your skills in scoping, designing, developing, testing, and delivering quality software solutions
  • While an IT-related degree or specific programming experience is not essential, you will need to demonstrate a clear interest in and aptitude for programming

Requirements

  • 3 good A-Level passes (grade A-C), including an A or B in maths
  • 2:1 degree or above (in any subject)
  • A demonstrable interest in and aptitude for programming

Benefits

  • £25,000 - £32,000 salary, depending on experience
  • 28 days holiday a year (including bank holidays)

Recruitment process

  • The first stage is a paper sift, where we'll review the information you've provided
  • If you pass this, you'll be invited to an interview in our office in High Wycombe. You'll be given a short written test during the interview that helps us to understand your capacity for logical reasoning. The interview is also a chance for you to ask any questions you have about Ryland, the sort of work we do, and what it's like to work here
  • If you pass this stage, we may ask you to complete some additional online tests, or to return for a second interview. We may also seek references at this stage (with your permission)
  • We'll let you know our decision within a couple of weeks
